We have been asked to re-forecast the remainder of 2008 – as our yearend is December 31st, this means reforecasting November (which is almost over) & December. We have also been asked to revise our Budgets for 2009 (for the 5th time) and our ProForma for 2008 & 2009.

Another monthend is upon me and I have it admit it’s going remarkably smoothly – which worries me. Am I working too fast/efficiently or do I really not have enough to do? I am bored, I am nearly finished all my stuff for reporting numbers next Tuesday.

The company I work at has a very antiquated accounting system which is painful to use and doesn’t provide reports which are useful. To get a report I desire either I have to export raw data and manipulate it or get vendor-support to build me a report – either way I can’t build my own [...]
